World Sanskrit Day

The wonders of Sanskrit, never cease to amaze! These two verse are an excerpt from Raghava Yadaviyam by Shri Venkatadhvari (17th Century). It is an “anuloma-viloma kavya” which narrates the ever-inspiring story of Lord Rama, when read in reverse narrates the ever-delightful tales of Bhagavan Shri Krishna.

Today, on World Sanskrit Day we celebrate this effervescent Mother of all languages, the language of the Gods, the language of our scriptures, bestowing upon us eternal knowledge – Sanskrit.
