In the Harimeede Stotram, Sri Adi Sankaracharya worships the Lord Hari, who is the causeless cause of the world. The whole creation is like a giant wheel that is constantly rotating. If we happen to ride on that, then we are subjected to the movements of the wheel of samsara. As we turn our identification from the cycling events of samsara to its unmoving substratum, the purpose of life is achieved. The Lord alone is the destroyer of the darkness of samsara.
