Swami Prakarshananda ji, Chinmaya Mission Delhi – Chief Guest for the celebrations began on a very auspicious note by lighting of lamp and flagging off the Tableau procession which attempted to display the glory of Pujya Gurudev and Chinmaya Vision Programme (CVP) across the NTPC Township. Dignitaries from NTPC Unchahar plant joined at the flaging off ceremony.
As a part of the procession CV students also performed a Nukkad Natak on CVP at two locations in the township.
A formal inauguration took place at the DAV School auditorium where Shri Alok Verma, Chairman, Vidyalaya Managing Committee shared a vision for the next decade of the school besides thanking NTPC for their collaboration. This was followed by aashirvacana by Swami Prakarshananda ji. Vidyalaya magazine which has glimpses of the achievements of the school in the last 25 years was released by Swamiji and given to NTPC Group General Manager – Shri Bhola Nath Mishra and other officials.
In the post-lunch session over 200 teachers from 3 schools on NTPC campus got the benefit of satsang with Swamiji who spoke on: ‘An ideal teacher’.
Early evening ‘On a Quest’ – movie on Pujya Gurudev’s life was screened for residents of the NTPC township. This was followed by an enriching satsang on ‘धर्म क्या है।’ (What is Dharma) by Swamiji.
At the end of the day the Grace of Pujya Gurudev was evident in the smiles of all present.
