Pain Or Joy – Never Let Your Smile Leave You!

This can be observed in life when we observe a devotee closely. A Christ in rags, a Buddha under a Bodhi tree, a Ramakrishna in the Kali temple, a Vivekananda on the cold railway platform in America, a Guru Gobind Singh encircled with danger and threat to his life at every moment, a Rama Tirtha in the valleys of Himalayas … none of them could, in any sense of the term, be conceived as having been provided with any reason to be happy or joyous. Yet, these are the rare ones who wore their eternal smile at the perfection achieved, the contentment gained, and the tranquility discovered.
