Guided by Swami Sarvagananda, Swami Sakshirupananda and Br. Srivatsa Chaitanya, 73 people from different parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana participated in the Chinmaya Sadhana Shibir organized by Chinmaya Mission Vijayawada at Dwarka from Aug. 7 to 17. Every morning, Swami Sakshirupananda conducted meditation sessions and explained Mundakopanishad in a very simple style. Swami Sarvagananda gave talks on Gita Ch. 7 with the help of the BMI chart and lively examples. Daily, Guru Paduka Puja was performed and Canto 10 of Vyasa Bhagavatam was recited. In the evenings, Br. Srivatsa Chaitanya spoke about Gopika Gitam, depicting the love and devotion of the Gopis for Krishna. A guest lecture on Madhurashtakam by Brni. Anupama Chaitanya was arranged for two days. A group of eight youngsters worked energetically for the smooth conduct of the camp. The campers also visited a number of temples and the Sabarmati Ashram.
