Krishna – The Joyous Infinite Reality

That which indicates a subtler Truth with its gross form is an idol. All ancient Hindu Vedic gods are but functional names of the One Supreme Power. The story of Krsna is the story of the infinite Reality imprisoned in matter.

Krsna is not a historical figure; He is the perpetual Truth. He does not belong to the past. He is of the ever-immediate moment. History is the chronological order of things that happen in life. He is beyond chronology. History is happening in time.

History is played out in Him just as the waves play in the ocean. Rooted in this wisdom, Krsna is the most perfect Man of Realization. The Lord Himself, playing in the world, is Krsna, the Infinite.
