CORD works in the slum areas as part of the Urban Reproductive and Child Health (Urban RCH) Program in collaboration with the National Health Mission.
What is the Urban RCH?
It aims to provide health care to the under-nourished populations that include migrants, nomads and construction workers at Nagrota Bagwan and Dharamshala in Kangra.
What is the Impact?
From organizing pulse polio programs for over 200 children in high risk slum areas, educating villagers on family planning and distributing over 500 condom packets to villages to conducting anti-natal check-ups, CORD has done this and much more under the program.
