CORD’s work in the area of Community Based Inclusion and Rehabilitation (CBIR) of persons with disabilities has been selected as a Winner in the category– Innovation: Non-Technology for the Nipman Foundation – Microsoft Equal Opportunity Awards 2019.
The Equal Opportunity Awards were instituted in 2014. It recognizes organizations and individuals empowering Persons with Disabilities in their work-spaces and lifestyles. This year, Nipman Foundation received 219 applications and winners were selected after a rigorous selection by a screening committee and an independent Jury chaired by Dr. Shamika Ravi, Director of Research at Brookings India. Ernst & Young (E&Y) was the official tabulator for the Awards.
