Pujya Swami Swaroopananda visited London and conducted a series of
captivating talks between Sep. 20 and 30. Pujya Swamiji held a jnana yajna
on ‘Awaken the Avatar Within’ at the Sattavis Centre in Wembley, North
London, from Sep. 21 to 26. Over 500 people attended the talks including
Swamini Umananda and devotees from European countries. On Sep. 27, a devotional music concert titled ‘Swara to Ishvara’ brought together
five highly accomplished musicians and Chinmaya Mission devotees
from both eastern and western classical backgrounds that raised
funds for the Chinmaya University. Swamiji’s U.K. visit culminated
in an awe-inspiring youth retreat entitled ‘Be Fearless’ at the Cranfield
School of Management in Milton Keynes on Sep. 28 and 29. Around
80 young people attended the camp. Pujya Swami Swaroopananda
and Brni. Shripriya Chaitanya gave many powerful yet practical
insights on how to overcome fears and self-limiting beliefs. Finally,
the visit was an opportunity for Swamiji to see the new Chinmaya
Vani bookshop at London’s Bhavan (Centre for Indian Performing Arts).
