People say, “God has forsaken me!” Is there an ornament forsaken by gold? Can a mud pot be forsaken by mud? In every experience of yours, He is ever with you.Consciousness flares forth and shines through every thought, but our attention is on the theme of the thoughts and not on the content that illumines the thought. How far is water from the waves? How far is the waker from the dreamer? So, how far is God from you? Who paints the sky blue? Who changes the formation of the clouds and the decor of the sky every minute? The shades change, patterns change, so, also, your thinking changes. You may not like the changes. From experience to experience, even in a tragedy, shift your attention from the sorrow to the One who illumines it. Go back to Consciousness. When the attention is not on the object, there is no experience of sorrow.
