Aimed at building leadership skills, students of the Vidyalaya’s Interact Cub attended the RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award) event at Tonkala Camp, Avadi, on Aug. 24. The school won the overall prize in the competitions at the camp. The students had an interactive session with Air Marshal (retd.) S. Varthaman and Dr. Shobha Varthaman, the proud parents of Wing Commander Abhinandhan, who presided over the inauguration ceremony. Other programs included dance, skit and various competitions to build team spirit. A session on cyber bullying and cybercrime was conducted by the Greater Chennai Police.
